Great content! Haha. So glad BB is taking on more of an educational focus to help this of us using the product to have success w our businesses beyond just explaining how the software works.

Great stuff! My site isn’t a membership site, but social network and knowledge base, like Facebook and Reddit. Would love a video on free-to-join social sites and monetization next!

Sounds good Josh, what specifically would you like to hear about? Give me 3-5 points, challenges, topics and I’ll see if I can put something together 🙌

@@jason_broderick Having no barriers to entry for information seekers, alternative to ads, generating involvement and commitment to the community even though there is no skin in the game (ie not paying to be there, so no feeling of "I'd better get my money's worth), rewarding members and encouraging leadership/ownership without paying..

Josh, are you planning to add any paid aspects at some point? Or you monetize in other parts of the business and this is noisy a bonus for people?

@@JayaLove Right now, only Google Ads but may add an option to pay to remove ads. I allow companies and tour guides to join, but may add a tier for them to buy extra abilities (ie be in a business directory, buy ads for the site etc)

is there a way to activate email notifications for the administrator email, to get emails if a new discussion is started, a question is posted or if someone replies to a post in the community? if anything happens in the community everything should be emailed to the admin email, is there a way for it?

Hi Ayub, BuddyBoss doesn't have such features yet out of the box, we highly suggest submitting this idea on Roadmap for our product team to look at on this link (bit.ly/BBIdeas). Thank you!

Jason, you defined low price memberships as less than $100/month. You said mid to high price memberships are $100 - $500 a month. Can you provide more detail on typical mid to low price ranges? Ex. On average, Mid price ranges are between $100 - $300 and high is between $300-500?

Hey hey - I would say typically I don't see a lot of memberships in the $100-300/m range - I see a lot of $7/m. $47/m $99/m then there seems to be a bit of a jump and the next tier I tend to see is $297/m and up. In between those two I tend to see smaller courses as one-off payments - $149, $199, $249. Or larger courses or group programs (e.g. $1997) on payment plans of 3 months, 6 months or even 12 months (e.g. $197x12). However - None of that is to say it's not possible to offer memberships at that price point. I think it might be more to do with the level of 1-2-1 engagement required between the levels - at $99/m nobody really expects a lot of direct contact with the group leader. And on the flip side at $297/m it becomes a lot more feasible to offer more "nurturing" type engagement directly to members or pay more "staff" to be more present. Hope that helps?

@@jasonbroderick1613 that does help, thank you. Your video made me think about the 3 tiers I currently offer. I may need to adjust them, meaning price and or content to better reflect some of the ideas you mentioned at different tiers. Ha, always so much to do, strategize, and figure out in business. LOL!

Hi Darren, unfortunately, we don't have any voice note features planned for BuddyBoss yet, however, you can submit this on Roadmap for our product team to look at on this link (bit.ly/BBIdeas). Thank you! Or if you are referring to BuddyBoss support channels to have a voice note, Currently, we do not provide support via any other channel (including, but not limited to email, Twitter, Facebook or over the phone).
