That is a fun house and by not going with mid century they captured the spirit of the 70s and saved money in the furnishings. It's liveable, thank goodness they skipped the shag carpet.

I grew up in an A-Frame built in the 1960s, lived there through 1974-75(most of) with a loft! My maternal grandparents lived nearby in a raised ranch with yellow appliances in the kitchen and tea cup wall paper.Monson, Massachusetts!

I'd love to live in that house, the style just takes me back, I wouldn't necessarily call it Americana it feels very European continental to me. Love that yellow hallway, it's like walking into a film set like some Italian giallo - literally...
