(Choco got marinated before the step 1) So it was impossible for Train to win. The odds was like 1 : 3 chance.

So Toast kills the last person out of storage to start his kill cooldown. If the two people kept going to reactor, Toast's kill cooldown would've been up by then and he could win by killing one more. Except Train backtracked to report and now we have a 50/50. Toast is likely to win the 50/50 because he was already marinating Choco. I think Train conceded and voted for Choco since Toast played that pretty much as perfect as he could. There was always the off chance that Train could've voted Toast with Choco, but he was impressed by the play and decided to concede. TLDR: Toast forced Train's hand to play the 50/50 or lose by kill cooldown.

Hence why when toast saw edison went straight to do download in the dark without anyone seeing him which was a very crewmate thing to do, toast just cleared edison of that. Normally impostors only fake task when other people can see them so that they can vouch for that impotor doing task.
