Love, it has to be hacked. The controller you showed. Is that all that's inside? If so you can't do a lot with it but it means there's plenty of room for a delay unit and maybe a slicer or ring mod.

True, that's just the controller - the other major piece is the DFRobot's DFPlayer Mini, with 2 sets of 5 syllable phrases (256) and 256 7 syllable phrases on the SD card, which the controller picks randomly.

@zenSutherland as I thought, a tough cookie to hack, without transferring the sd card to a different reader. Still loads of fun to be had with fx units. Thanx for sharing.
