Morries Christmas dinner looks much better than Spoons one you had the other day and price wise it was ok. Cauliflower cheese and yorkshire was an added bonus. 👍

Absolutely, always good value there, the only thing I didn't enjoy was their Cod and chips, there was no flavour in the fish. But I always rate their breakfasts

Yeah that's true, my Spoons one wasn't bad, it was edible. Sounds like Gary had an unfortunate batch, especially his stuffing ball, same as mine here

Imho that prawn cocktail was 90% lettuce and 10% prawns and cocktail sauce. Defo needed the brown bread and butter. Bang average although it did look fresh

Mash, cauliflower cheese (although I love it) Yorkshire (fantastic with lamb or beef) and peas belong nowhere near a Christmas turkey dinner. Imho.

Meal looked great, but what a depressing place Morrisons café looks. Give me a pub, and Wetherspoons is my favourite, with atmosphere, a pint of beer, conversation, not some out of town monstrosity. I have not stepped inside a supermarket since Covid. Tesco comes to me, not the other way around.

Yeah they do look samey, I do find it surprising the supermarket can get better food than the Spoons, they make it the same way I am sure. Swap the food quality and Spoons would be a perfect meeting place.
