One mistake that I make a lot (because I suck), is trying too hard to retake a lane. If you are getting destroyed in lane by being underlevelled, farm some Pokémon and get some exp. Letting the enemy score for free isn’t great, but you aren’t helping at all by being stomped by the other team, so it’s worth it.

What people don’t understand is that it’s ok to let your opponent score. You have 10 minutes to win and your opponent doesn’t win instantly by scoring 50 pts. I don’t even try to score until the end unless I’ve cleared a lane I don’t score.
@blowc16123 жыл бұрын
@@THGMR-ox7sd no, you suck yourr obviously think scoring is a priority when it isn’t. You probably a low ranking player. The best tip for almost ANY game ranked is to TAKE BREAKS. Seriously, don’t play for hours on end and take a break ESPECIALLY if you are on a lose streak or are playing super tilted. If you are on a win streak sure keep on keeping on but seriously take breaks. The longer you play, the more burnt out you start getting, and the more mistakes you make. Tip that improved my lower rank WRs a lot: Don't pick for team comp. If you're a Cinderace main and the rest of your team picks 4 attackers, don't switch. Your comp sucks regardless and you need to carry, so swapping to a defender is usually a bad idea. Also, if you're getting stomped in every fight, just afk farm to get your level a high as possible (really ideally 15) to make a comeback at rayquaza. The jump in stats only gets larger with each level, with the difference between 14 + 15 being massive compared to the difference between 1+2. Being higher level for rayquaza is a massive factor in making comebacks

Agree that most of these are basic tips and should be common sense.. some of the better tips are: don’t kill drednaw when zapdos is about to spawn cause it reduces your teams damage to zapdos; the grass is your friend - you can use it to ambush the enemies or hide in when you want to score a goal but see some of the enemies lurking or about to spawn (for the middle goals); also, study the skills of the pokemons as they normally would have combi skills to be more effective like for example with gengar, you need to choose the combi of sludge bomb and hex in order to trigger the passive which brings me to another tip which is to maximize the use of your passive skills which is one thing most players would forget.. lastly, one tip that can be arguable (specially for solo gamers) is when your are paired up in a lane with a very incompetent player, i suggest that you switch to another lane cause it won’t do you or the team any good if the both of you keeps on dying and not able to farm.. just go back to that lane and help when you’ve leveled up and gotten stronger.. hope this helps..
@Riryz3 жыл бұрын
Agree on most of them but not completely on the Zapdos one. Sure, dont take Zapdos in front of the entire enemy team. Thats a given. But if you win the teamfight at 1:50 you should probably do Zapdos if you can do it safely because otherwise you will have to have another teamfight which might result in a loss anyways. If the enemy respawns at 1:10 to 1:20 they can still make their way to Zapdos, win a teamfight and take Zapdos and dunk 300ish points. It takes maybe 15 seconds or less to charge towards the enemy goals from the Zapdos pit.

The tactic I use with my friends. We always go: Talonflame, Zeraora, Lucario, Greninja, Charizard. We go Zeraora and Charizard on top and the rest on bottom. We get the dreadnaw, they get rotom, we get a goal zone and then 1 goes up while two stay down and then they get a goalpost. The one stays in middle and 2 on each. During zapdos 4 of us go get zapdos and a 4 people unite move combo while one gets a goal zone, then everyone goes mid and 2 each side 1 center strat. This gives pretty good teamwork 90% win rate and it doesnt have to be our pokemon any is fine depending on the playstyle. We go offensive, for defensive games we use Slowbro, Ninetales, Blastoise, Eldegoss and Zeraora or for all rounded games we just mix. It's not exactly a tactic but it's an easy way to win

Had to take a small break from the grind. I was on a huge win streak, got to ultra 5 with no real problems and now just on a terrible lose streak. Need a mental breather lol. Been watching your Road to Masters with the worst pokemon and items videos to relax.

Fomr me tip number two and last tip are the most important! The amount of times i am winning a game and the team decides to go zapdos only to simply lose it and then the team scores feels awful!! Alsoi agree with tip number 2 a lot since its what i have been doing, but then again its my experience from LoL. For Drednaw its something i started to notice more recently and i have to agree with DX

I love you spragels too. But I want to know how can I control garchomp's unite move and how can I win the match if my teammates are losing to them again and again and I'm only the scorer.? Please answer the questions. 🙂🙂

Recently just made ultra. The main issue I have with other people jungling? Large majority of the time they do it badly. People taking bottom and top lanes I can trust them to do the bare minimum. But I've noticed jungling requires alot of technical knowledge that many junglers do not demonstrate. As a laner I tend to play umbreon. Thats pretty great and can in fact delay 2 same levels solo long enough for back up to come. And as is often the case, the jungler isn't ganking when you can plainly see a push or a break through Learning from those negative examples. I have indeed found. I can do it better than most people. And all it took was a quick look at the rotations and just following a diagram. Its not hard but people struggle. And I don't get why.

The only issue I find is that since I've learned how important Dreadnaw is, I always abandon whatever I'm doing to go down and fight him but if I pick a character that cannot solo Dreadnaw and literally no one else on my team decides they want to come help, I either just end up dying or losing the objective I was at before I went to go fight Dreadnaw. Its a good tip, but you have to also choose a character that can take matters into their own hands.

One thing that sucks in a team game is when you play solo and people push too hard forward so you either have to push and all die or leave them and they die faster then you get ganked by everyone else running down the lane Any advice for this ?

I usually end up filling for support which means I’m playing Eldegoss bottom lane. Which means often nobody cares that I’m pinging for dreadnaw. Do you think it’s better to play an attacker on top lane, e.g. Cinderace, and forgo a support character? At least then I can move to bottom to take out dreadnaw with the other bottom laners. Or is having that support character more important? I’m barely scraping 50% because it takes forever to gain a class level.

What really bothers me is when one or two allies are trying to take Zapdos by themselves, and of course its hp is dropping very slowly, then someone on the enemy team dives onto you while you're alone, making your way over. And your allies keep hitting Zapdos, completely unaware. Then the rest of the enemy team shows up and kills them. This happens a lot with Rotom in the top lane; I'll be getting 1v2'd or poked down to low hp while my lane partner is trying to take Rotom solo right above me as I die, and they're completely oblivious. I'm not even good with map awareness in Mobas, but it's not THAT hard in a game like this where the map is already tiny.

I’m in ultra 2 (solo only) currently making my way up to masters. I couldn’t agree more about taking top lane, if I’m bottom the top never comes down for Dreadnaw. I wish you could see win rate divided on which lane you called out, I’m sure top would be my highest

I'm in the same position as you rank wise unless you've gained a few sub ranks or even achieved master since the time you posted this comment. If you still have yet to get to masters though I wish you the best luck and also I can definitely sympathize with your frustration at the lack of team dynamics and coordination as a solo player myself thus far.

Pray! More useful; try no to lock in right away. The timer speeds up if everyone has locked in. I like to 'camp' on my first choice, but if I see everyone else locking in without a defender I switch. A word of warning, watch the time! Once I got 'stuck' half way to Wigglytuff and the game started me on Cinderace, who we didn't need and I've never played!
@Driekiann3 жыл бұрын
I would say pick Snorlax, Slopoke or something that can hard assist and support the better(s) one(s). Not a garanted but just do what's the best with your current situation. The goal to climb in rank is not to always win, it's to lower your chances of losing as much as you are able to.

Yeah what Spragels said, all you can do in a team based game is doing whatever will give you a higher winrate, so no sneaky sneaky goaling to make yourself look better when you should be helping at dreadnaw, ect :)

As an cinderace player who is pretty much a pro at using him, this video does put a smile on my face. Question tho i go jungle at the start and get to level 5 pretty much instantly and then instantly go to bot Lane since there is always 1-2 people at top lane, is this good cause this works out well for me 100% of the time
@ArcViper3 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure what happened for me. I started playing ranked and was cruising through Beginner and Great easy. I don't play MOBAs so I don't expect to make it to Master, but whatever. A day after moving into Expert I start playing ranked again. Almost every match nobody wants to go for Drednaw, I try to herd people there like cats and it rarely works. My Lucario is busy brawling at the outer goal for no reason and probably dying. Now I'm stuck squirting water at Drednaw as Slowbro and the enemy team comes in and mops up. It's all downhill from there. Each match in Expert has seemed like the other team at least kind of knows what they're doing, while mine is wandering around with no focus or getting afks. I was expecting a gradual increase in difficulty as I climbed, but instead I just hit a brick wall. Maybe it was just a string of bad luck with teammates. Pretty discouraging though.
