The 8-Step SEO Strategy for Higher Rankings

#1: I’ll show you how to do keyword research. The keyword research game has changed A LOT over the last year or so. Today, you want to find “Opportunity Keywords”. I will explain what they are and exactly how to find them in the video.
#2: You’ll learn how to create content that ranks today. Traditional content formats (like list posts) don’t work as well as they used to. So if you want to rank on the first page of Google in 2021, you need to change things up. Specifically, you need to make sure that everything that you publish has a “hook” that will push bloggers and journalists to link to you.
#3: How to build backlinks. Yup, link building is still a super important part of search engine optimization. But the game has changed. Today, it’s all about getting white hat backlinks from authority sites in your industry. And I show you how to build legit links using proven link building strategies.
#4: Skyscraper Technique 2.0. This is a modern-day spin on a classic content marketing strategy. Skyscraper 1.0 still works. But to rank your site for competitive keywords, you need to use The Skyscraper 2.0 approach too.

Hi Brian. In step 5, you made mentioned of changing existing URLs can do more harm than good because of backlinks. How about setting up redirections using a plugin like Rankmath for URLs that have been shortened. I guess that works because I have experimented with it, you don't get broken links or lose backlinks with that. What is your thought on this?

@@YogaBlissDance He's grown his channel because he already had an extremely large audience on his blog before he started KZbin. It's got nothing to do with SEO. When you're as big as he is, all someone has to do is type in his name and everything pops up. That's what people don't realize, these people claim SEO is the name of the game but it's really not. Build a big ass audience somewhere else first and become an authority .... then you'll be able to grow a big KZbin channel. Same with Neil Patel and GaryVee. Both had large audiences on other platforms before starting KZbin. People like him because he's already big and trustworthy from his in-depth blog. SEO has nothing to do with it and that's the reality.
