If they came up with a coach similar with the wheelchair lift in the Rear like the J4500'S along with a restroom, this definitely might be something worth looking into...especially if they're replacing the 102D models...would be nice for us Airport coach operators

Great stuff dude. Always love your channel. I don't think that NJT would go for this bus anyway. Have you seen the driver side bay doors on NJT ACADEMY BUS LAKELAND COACH USA (IM ONLY TALKING ABOUT THE COMMUTER SERIES ONLY) the bay doors are zip tied. Thanks to HOMELAND SECURITY. They actually worked with NJT Police PA Police and surrounding agencies and suggested that, that would be the most vulnerable location considering the fact that the driver would be, could be, will be outside the bus at station stops like the Port Authority, Philly or Mt. Laurel Station in SJ, when loading or unloading often taken tickets or loading luggage on the curb side of the bus. Look at the fact that it's taken them this long to accept the new headlight design. NJT buses always maintained the borders around the windows even when MCI went to the frameless design in 2006. Then NJT still kept the same old fashion headlight design even after the MCI went to those huge bug eyed headlamps. Now they've retrofitted them to LED. Oohhhh yeah.... The Port can accommodate that bus. It'll have to use level one only and access it from 40th Street and 9th only. Our Setra's were 12ft. So is Martz buses too. Level one only.

They ziptied our buses a while ago but the driver can un zip tie it. at least the buses i rode they did... yes i like the window style nj chooses and it is more then likely cheaper to maintain and replace as well. and it also give maximum view from the inside.. i hope njt makes arrangements to order the old d series even after they try to pitch the crt le... i mean after all we order ALOT of buses from them

Camden newton Avenue garage should have those D40 CRT LE commuter coaches and NJ transit should order them for Camden newton Avenue garage if they can't fit those D4500 commuter coaches at that garage if mci can build it

The only thing I dislike on the coach is the fact wheelchairs sit lower then the passengers and can be a close space. Being paralyzed and in a wheelchair I would like to ride with the rest of the passengers. I did suggest that they could design a bus that could be driven by someone like me. Still hasn’t happened yet.

This MCI D45 CRT LE commuter coach will end the classic version of the D4500 wich it's known as the 102 DL3 back then and no silversides neither this bus will replace the name D4500 next year motor coach industries is moving away from the silversides in favor of the clean stream line design and too bad for ecoline design didn't finish building more buses for NJ transit
