Jack Dee is known for his dry and sarcastic humour. He used to MC the comedians on “Live at the Apollo” and had his own sitcom “Lead Balloon”.

😊❤ I think Jack Dee's great - he started off in comedy being the "grumpy"-faced stand-up comic, but has _mellowed_ over the many years he's been working, both still as stand-up, and in a comedic ITV 'sitcom' series he wrote..(if I remember correctly, it's called "Lead Balloon") Jack Dee also has hosted, (& still does) host a long-running *radio* comedy panel show, called: "I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue" which is an absolutely _great_ show. It has _many_ faithful fans, and has been running since 1972. (though with different "chairmen" over the passing years, as the first one, - a well-known jazz trumpeter of the 1960's - Humphrey Lyttleton, died sometime in the 2000's, I think, and eventually Jack took on the role, and is _brilliant_ - great - at it...very funny but with the usual "dry British wit".) I hope you'll take the opportunity to listen to it, I think _you'll_ become fans too...!!😊❤ ... If you ever do get the opportunity to listen to a few of those shows, although obviously the 'in-jokes' are geared towards British audiences - who all "get the jokes" - it's still _very_ funny and well-worth listening to. It's aired on BBC Radio_4, but is available in sets of six or eight shows at a time - one after the other - (30 minutes each, or so, per show) _Here_ on KZbin.🙂❤Enjoy.❤🙂 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🇬🇧🖖

The Blue Peter is a flag (letter P) flown by a ship when it's about to leave harbour, "outward bound". There are Outward Bound organisations (eg the Boy Scouts) to encourage children to explore the wild world, and Blue Peter is a long-running tv programme for that purpose.

Jason Donovan was a pop star and was in a soap opera called Neighbours. He was probably most famous for being Kylie Minogue's boyfriend though, not a bad accolade.

Jack Dee is great. He’s deadpan so you should try him. I recommend the radio show “I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue” but I warn you, it may not translate.

Okay, so first. Blue Peter old BBC kids program. Secondly. The blond guy is Jason Donovan, Australias Pop king a la Rick Astley who was on a soap with a girl Kylie Minogue who was a couple on the show and both popstars. She became as big as Madonna though,he didnt. So thats the joke.. it would be like having Kurt Russel there and looking at him kicking Elvis when he starredein sn Elvis film, and then getting asked...do you know what happened to that guy with the guitar ? And then Kurt going, not sure...o think he did music for a while... Basically Kylie became bihher and bigger the last 35 years or so, and if you lived in Europe you couldn't escape her succes. It would be like never seeing or hearing about Taylor Swift today.. Finally, you saw Jacksons where there was none... that was the UK band 5 Star and i think they where big in england, but we didnt get them in Europe. Not all UK stuff made ot over. They had 400 bands that Europe didnt get into.. Madness. The Associates.The Comsat Angels. The Beat.The Housemartins. Marilyn. And loads of otjer bands.. same can be said of US stuff. Rick James meant nothing here. First time I heard his name was when Charlie Murphy talked about him... Europe had so many stars drpm all over Europe that not all came through from the UK and US.😊

Hello Ethan and Angela. A look back at British TV from previous decades would be a good video, but you would need to find a way to not get a copyright issue. Almost everyone in UK used to watch the same stuff at the same time, with one time zone and a couple of TV channels. It was like the unifying culture. Perhaps you could watch something that everyone in UK could relate to, but read a description of it and react to that in your video, alongside your original reaction and a still frame of the topic? I have seen another US reactor in LA do this with music videos.

Jack Dee is has popular as he was then once. He was ranked as high has 8th best comedian in the world just think, Eddie Murphy, Robin Williams and all that lot he was ranked 8th he was on British TV and the odd film and throughout the 1980's and 2000's and more recently. At his height 5 foot 12 and a quarter inches. And if you haven't seen him before, it's because, he's good at it hinding in plain sight, from American viewer clip shows. Keep banging the rocks together guys and never remember just that group was five star not the Jackson's five and blue peter was a TV magazine show for the under fourteens youth it had presenter's who would show you how to make gift for parents and other family members, these presenters would go on world trips and swim with dolphins and climbing mountains ask the kids to send in stuff for charities and every week the total would climb to it's target of our many tons of stuff bottle caps or tops we say stamps, old toys because back then they were made in metal not plastic asked for but never money. I think it's still on but not a prime time TV spot on the BBC children channel. And champagne comes in lots of sizes you have the normal size then they double and they have bible names for each size up that doubled just look it up and they are all on sale I think there is a bottle of champagne which is equal to 16 bottles or more Love mum
