The 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is an American 2-door muscle car manufactured by Dodge. It is a limited edition high performance variant to the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat which was introduced in 2015. The SRT Demon was unveiled at the 2017 New York Auto Show in New York City, New York.
Under the hood, the Challenger SRT Demon comes equipped with a 6.2L V8 engine, different to the one present in the Hellcat; fitted with a larger 2.7L twin-screw supercharger outputting 840 bhp when running on 100-octane fuel. Otherwise it's limited to 808 bhp on 91-octane fuel. The SRT Demon is capable of hitting 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) in just 2.3 seconds which is one of the fastest acceleration times ever recorded for a production car.
