Worth mentioning a few of these movies were made to hold onto rights. The FF movie was the start of the regular "quick, make the FF movie so we don't lose the right!" Whether you like it or not; it is the only live action adaptation that has Jubilee as an active member on a team so far. Yes the later films had Jubilee in it; but it was just an Easter egg in the films. If the movies had Rogue have a child for some reason somehow then Jubilee needs to get an upgrade to her powers so she wouldn't feel like she is useless and inconsistent with her powers like in the 97 animated series. Make her on par with mutants like cyclops. Even have her team up with Wolverine in a live action spin off show. It's not like Fox now owned by Disney has not explored new ideas before like having Poloris be a main character in a live action series and have more sentinel types of robots like in the comics.

@@IMissThe1990s As long as someone knows what it means to be told "Remember, it is a Roger Corman film" that person should be fine. Again, I feel his approach to the characters was very respectful to the source material.

I remember this. It aired on Fox in the mid 90s I believe. I remember watching it and even back then, it was corny. They also made a Nick Fury tv movie that starred David Hasselhoff which was just as bad. hahaha!

I remember this! More specifically, I remember mondo touching a car and getting punched and the guy who threw the punch hurt his hand. I liked it!

The version that was broadcast was heavily censored and I saw the uncensored version years ago. But the last time I looked for it on KZbin I could not find the uncensored version and I was starting to think I had dreamed it (strangely enough). Glad to see I didn’t imagine Jubilee dropping the F bomb and Refrax talking about “beavers”.

I have the uncensored bootleg dvd of the movie.

I thought something was off when I heard the f bomb! The only time I watched this was on television. This came out in February 1996 on Fox and they were really batting 1000 in this genre that year. A few months later they gave us Doctor Who with Paul McGann and that did just as well!

I bought a vhs recording of this on ebay just to prove people it was real. It also came with the Roger Corman produced FF4. Totally regretted dropping the 20$.

The Roger Corman one is worth $20 alone. Just for that scene of Mr Fantastic waving out the sunroof of the limo!!

I was so sad, I didn't have time to tape this and I wasn't allowed to stay up and watch it. Only caught the opening scenes. It really has felt like a fever dream remembering this over the years.

I was actually anticipating this series I was a kid at the time, only 7, but I was huge into comics and superheroes

I remember this movie, alright!! I taped it off of Fox when it premiered! Even bought a special VHS tape to record it on at the time!! LOVE me some Generation X, even if nobody else remembers it!!

I'm not joking. I actually had a fever when I watched this film back in the 90s. It's a complete synchronicity. It was not a fun time. My teeth were chattering. 😂

Loved Matt Frewer as "Trashcan Man" in Stephen Kings "The Stand"(the good version from 1994) and in "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" as Rick Moranis' characters neighbour

That Nick Fury movie rocked so hard. It's one of my favorite marvel movies acutally.

I videotaped this movie when it premiered (back when you could do such a thing) and watched it until the tape wore out. I was too young to know any better. Good times.

I remember seeing this on tv as a kid but forgot about it for years. Didn't leave a lasting impression. lol

Something I kind of miss about 90s cinema is those tight shots with accent lights. It can be quirky to punky, but sometimes, it just adds personality to filming. As camera production improved over the years, everyone wants the flatness of a zoom lens, which is great and all for many settings, but that's like all you really see anymore, the same camera lenses over and over. Modern movies often times have become too visually boring with an over use of flatness and subdued colors. The visual style in the 90s had so much more pop to it.

Watched this and Nick Fury, Agent of SHIELD when they aired. Nick Fury caught me off guard because I didn't have a tape ready to record it like I did with Generation X.

All I remember about this movie is Jubilee falling asleep on Skin's shoulder and drooling on him. Yes, I read the source material through AOA and dropped out with the new artwork just couldn't get into it. The movie wasn't bad for a made for TV movie.
