American here 🇺🇸, this is our greatest generation. At 30, I don’t want to know what life will be like without these guys around. There’s not one I’ve ever watched that didn’t bring me to tears. I’ll be watching for video of his jump!

One of the most riveting interview I've ever seen. His beautiful use of the language to express what must have been one of the most traumatic experiences in his life. His modesty illuminates his bravery ... and his tears as he says he will be unable to speak at the cemetery are more powerful than words. I'm in awe!

Because our generations have not yet been challenged by having our homes bombed, burned and love ones killed! So...who can predict how our present generation would react in this situation? Only God can determine that, yes?

These men were brave because thet believed in Christ. The woman at home were brave because they believed in Christ. He said, I prayed about it. It is why so many were brave. Both my Mom & Dad survived Hitler's occupation in Poland.

Who Knew 22 you can’t be a doer all your life, people come to your home & you do as they told because you don’t want to fight back
@whoknew22735 жыл бұрын
@@ninthsunn Why fight in the first place the Germans never came to the UK and invaded . The UK decided to have a war purely on arrogance and greed and this is nothing but propaganda . How about channel 4 report about people in this country having to go to food banks , unemployment , poorly run schools instead of dwelling in the past .
@ninthsunn5 жыл бұрын
Who Knew 22 that’s a good point, though looking back & judge by hitler’s ambitions, why would he stop there? he was confident enough to take on russia, the uk would have made one of his greatest accomplishment. as for c4, i’m not their regulars so i wouldn’t know if they’ve touched on the subjects, i’d be surprised if they haven’t. not that i’m a fan of mainstream media, i take with a pinch of salt. but i see this as one must have recognition ones efforts, serving his/her country at the time, i say. life is nothing but propaganda if you want to go that route.
