The 9th Hole at SentryWorld: Dramatic Tee-to-Green Strategy

Featuring an entirely man-made river that can flow both directions, the 9th at ‪@SentryWorld‬ Golf Course in #StevensPoint #wisconsin is an incredible feat of engineering and ‪@roberttrentjonesiirtj2golf336‬#golf course design that's perhaps as challenging to play as it was to develop.
A long par five, players need to pick their target off the tee carefully as the river is shorter to carry on the left and gets longer toward the right. With the river meandering throughout the fairway, not even the setup shot is straightforward as players will need to find a comfortable distance to hold this narrow (from back-to-front) green complex that abuts the water and is flanked by deep bunkers.
