I own a 1.0 and now a 2.0. I gotta say, the 2.0 is phenomenal! I found myself having to undo and unlearn the modifications that I made to the 1.0 because the 2.0 just fixes everything. You guys can keep that $100 that I spent.

George Michael was in 1st Battalion? Serious note though, Ive had the A-JAC for over a year, LARP in it weekly, and competed in 2 Tactical Games with no sign of degradation. Very comfy, very sturdy. Also, Javlin belts are the perfect mid point between minimalist and big gay padded hip belts. Am I a ranger? No. Do I sometimes wear ranger panties that I painted my own ranger scroll on? Maybe. Does the A-JAC get me laid? Only because I refuse to take it off and my wife signed a contract. Get one today

Love my Ajac. I just need plates, knife knook (you guys should make one) and a few other small odds n ends and mine will be complete. Then off to do it all over again with the 2.0. Never can have enough kit with my kids growing so fast. You guys are killin it!

What is a good more "overt" modern placard to use with this. I find myself needing admin/extra mags on the front placard than the standard 3 slimline, having a dangler also makes having the slimline setup a bit redundant. I like it for shoot house /cqb training.
@BattleDrill_89 ай бұрын
I dig the carrier my only gripe is it doesn't have a built in admin pouch like the jpc or avs I get alot of use out of it for Chem lights or 9 line cards etc...

How is the material under NIR?

It's genuine MultiCam so it will look the same as any other MultiCam gear under nods! Our supplier is the same major supplier for most tactical gear companies.

How will size 1 fit on someone who’s 5’8 160 pounds?
@javlinconcepts9 ай бұрын
Very well. This carrier has some of the most adjustable shoulder straps on the market. The Cummerbund is adjustable too, and was designed to ensure a proper fit for a wide variety of operator sizes

If only it didnt rely on the plates for structural support. What if i need to carry a bunch of heavy shit? My ceramics are supposed to just take that weight?
@javlinconcepts8 ай бұрын
Huh? Are you thinking that because the plates are top loading, the plates are carrying the weight load of your setup? The shoulder straps carry the weight, as per usual, and the cummerbund helps too. But it no way do the ceramics do anything other than just sit in the carrier.
@ebuw8 ай бұрын
@javlinconcepts what's keeping the fabric from bending, flopping, sagging, twisting?
@javlinconcepts8 ай бұрын
@@ebuw The plates give it form like every other carrier, ya. They don't carry any of the weight though.
@ebuw8 ай бұрын
@javlinconcepts Answer me this, can your carrier take the weight of 12 mags, 2 radios, medical, hydration, and a shit ton of admin? Cuz that's my issue with most carriers. Sagging, stretching, and flopping of the material. I need my shit to stay put.
@javlinconcepts8 ай бұрын
@@ebuw Yes, but for a heavier setup like that you would want our Rigid Cummerbund instead of our Elastic Cummerbund. Our Rigid Cummerbund will be available for purchase late this month / early February, but it's designed specifically for heavier loud outs like that.
@RprtBak10 ай бұрын
The only problem I have with this is that since there is no bottom hook/loop enclosure... You can't really use any danglers. Is that a big deal, probably not? But that's the only big downside I'd see. Also 2nd bat best bat. :p jk jk
@javlinconcepts10 ай бұрын
You can still use danglers brother! They attach to the Loop Velcro portion of the front plate bag behind the placard 😎
@RprtBak10 ай бұрын
Oh neat! I must've missed that part this mornings been crazy. I'm not sure if it'll replace my avs, but I will 100% try this out and see when I get paid. It seems like a better JPC overall. Thank you! @@javlinconcepts

Yay another minimalist plate carrier that's like the other that offers no padding or support for long use
@jasonhood863110 ай бұрын
An elastic cummerbund doesn’t do very well for load bearing. At the price point there should be choices for a cummerbund. It seems more like a slick carrier than anything. Seems more suitable for the range than real life situations. I think of the JPC 2.0 when I see it. Doesn’t seem to have an original design but a mix of ones already available.
@javlinconcepts10 ай бұрын
Most elastic cummerbunds don't, but because of how thick ours is, it would surprise you with how might weight it could hold without sagging. Not optimal for a SAW gunner setup, but you can run any M4 setup all day with this thing. With that being said, we are working on a cummerbund specifically for heavier setups. It's extremely suitable for real life situations. That's what it was designed for, and it's used by people in those roles. The JPC was a good design when it came out, but ours blows that thing out of the water with comfort and function.
