Well, Mark, I'm sure you know that respect is something that is earned, not just given carte blanche. I listen to Kidd's sermons routinely, and often agree with some of what he says. {KJV Only, absolutely!} I don't mind his ranting and raving. I prefer this type of Scriptual presentation, more than most others, as a matter of fact. However, week after week, he is always bragging on his accomplishments. {Fighting, beating people, businesses, "this and that will never happen, as long as I'm the pastor of this church, blah, blah, blah"...} Many more examples to be found, as his sermons are replete with them. {A little sidebar...I saw your picture with a Penguins logo. I sure hope that doesn't extend to the Steelers and Pirates, too.} Now, you say he "deserves" the respect to be called by some title. Why? Because he says so? Some of what he says is, indeed, undeniable truth, but my main grievance with Kidd is his false teaching. Specifically, the insane doctrine of Arminianism. Ergo, just Kidd to me, man.
