I did learn the crankshaft connected to the front shaft, the front shaft connected to the tail shaft, the tail shaft connected to the drive shaft, the drive shaft connected to the pinion shaft, the pinion shaft connected to the axle shafts. Dem bones dem bones dem bones.

This was produced by General Motors so my guess is their motivation was somehow their explanation would translate to profit. Where as your high school shop teacher’s motivation was just trying to get through their day without some idiot kid discovering how to make small explosions with the oxyacetylene rig like they were the first one in the history of mankind to do it. Mostly it was profit though.

I doubt this is a 1969 film since it opens with a first generation Monte Carlo and the first year for that was 1970.
