The Abigail Album Tutorial featuring Sir Vagabond by Stamperia

I shared a video of a little folio album using Abigail papers from Nitwits (hence the tutorial name here). A few people asked how it was made and so here is the construction. I said that I designed it to maximise 12x12 papers and you’ll see how it only used 3 sheets a and a few ephemera pieces.

It's so relaxing to see and here you craft. The folios have become my favourite things to make as gifts at the moment. Although I'll be making two memory boxes soon. I'm becoming grandmother again for a boy and a girl.

Brilliant on the tape method.......!!!!! can you use book binding tape the same way or just the black masking tape? what was the width of it 1 inch or 1 1/2 inch?

The tape is brilliant. I use the 1” one but I have heard talks if wider ones coming out 🥳

I love the process of using tape on the covers. I have tried to see what kind of tape it is you use, but unable to find any links for this tape. I am from Canada and wondering if I could use hockey tape? It is a type of cloth tape but not acid free. Does it have to be acid free. Thank you for the tutorial Paul, I love your work!!

I wouldn’t know having never tried hockey tape. Think you’d be better off looking for Bookbinding tape.

I did a search, and it just comes up as masking tape, which is readily available. Don't know if you have it in Canada, but I found black masking tape at Wal-Mart. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong; I just wasn't sure what 'construction' tape is.
