Rango is one of the best animation movie Ive ever watch lol. Its notbreally follow trends (Pixars/Dreamworks niche) and have some interesting camera angles, how they play a lot of lightning and filters plus describing the dream/imaginations so surreal. And the story and character design is for more older audiences. Not everything all sunshine/colorful.

thought this would be an hour long essay, but perhaps 4 minutes is all you need to truly get the points you were making across.

the writing here is quite good actually, however a few comments. you jumped a bit and your throughline gets fuzzy a few times but this doesn't really take away from the video since it is so short. Honestly i would love if you went a bit more in depth with this. Rango is such a perfect example of what i think "children's" movies should be, genuine pieces of art that can be enjoyed by a broad audience, rango is "safe" for kids but not necessarily targeted at the demographic. I also likes your point that in some ways creating vividly designed characters like the side characters in rango through cgi can make them seem almost more real than even the best visual effects despite their absurdity. I think it also goes to show that movie cgi really doesn't need to improve very much, but art direction has definitely fallen behind a ways. I hope you got a good grade on it.
