I have been running this exact squad since malak came out. It worked pretty well before g13, but after g13 Malak was just too hard to kill consistently. I probably ran it 100+ times but never thought to do a double crawl to start. It is a game changer. Absolutely awesome. 22 for 23 in arena with it. Anyway, thanks for posting the vid!

use L3. The "original" team with l3 and HK is still the most reliable. On par with this one, but doesn't suffer vs high tenacity malaks.

Just don't attack 180 tenacity malaks ;) the team does struggle a bit with that. Having IPD playing right before GG helps, but then you sometimes just lack debuffs on the field and bastilla doesn't die... So yeah it's reliable as long as you don't fight high tenacity malak - but still not as much as going with HK lead and L3 ;) This one is also a lot easier to pull out mod-wise !

Can you elaborate as to what mod sets, primary bonuses and which Zetas are required and which ones are optional (on the fence for the T3M4 Armor Penetration one)? Thanks, and keep up the good work! Edit: after a bit of testing, seems to me we need IPD’s Zeta to prevent the tanks from Taunting (especially Malak).

Peter Siu No, I screwed up another video! 😂 For some reason I mixed up IG88 and IPD zetas. IG88 is NOT needed. Although it does help slightly against really tough Malaks. IPD zeta is needed with this turn order. Some have told me you can do it without the zeta by having him go next to last. That’s not as good but still doable. T3 armor penetration is helpful but not a requirement either.

@@Bulldog1205 i guess while I don't have IPD's Zeta, can lower his speed so it goes right before Grevious. More reliable too, since Target locks aren't guaranteed? Will test further... currently fiddling with how much Crit Chance, Crit Damage and Max Health under HK47 lead (I usually take out HK47 for mirror matches anyways), but will also mod IG88 so depending on the situation can use either lead

Peter Siu You will get fewer debuffs, but that should only matter against the extremely high end, ridiculously tanky Malaks. You should still have enough.

jugglinpagasi just curious, what caused you to fail, was it at the big AOE from GG during his 3rd attack? Or was it when using skittering horror he didnt wipe the toon you wanted out?

PMAC it was a combination of ipd and ig88 failing to apply target lock to malak, which meant that when ig88 and T3 did did their aoe and crit, malak taunted, which forced gg to crawl on malak. Sometimes that’s fine, but a g13 malak requires a really strong hit to take down on the first crawl and gg failed to do that. So I lost

@bulldog1205 i have been looking into a gk lead team for gac since i dont have padme or anakin. Im considering gk lead ahsoka luminara barris and jc, every character can call mass assist and ahsoka on thier heals or gks mass assist. Gk leadership also synergize very well with the t6 mods %health %def and %offence. The reason for this is drevan is very often put on defence and so is padme. Suicide grevious is used to counter revan. So im thinking that this team built very tanky with all the healing team cleansing and assist will be a great zone blocker in gac atleast in lower brackets. At max a 3 zeta team but seems viable with 1 zeta on ahsoka, the stategy is not killing the other team but outlasting for 5 minuts. I recall you have all the characters and ahsoka zeta so was wondering if you would test it out for me. Trying to maximize my squads with the least possible wasted gp. Best regards

I thought the problem was when BSF went before GG and you get corrupted battle meditation so you have to wait a turn for it to go away. Maybe I'm wrong but I thought that was the problem. I think in your video GG always goes before BSF.

Barrett Clemence GG needs to go first. It’s very easy to do so because of the 40% TM boost from BB-8. In other videos you don’t deliver the big blows with GG until multiple turns in, so regardless of whether GG goes first or not he ends up with CBM. IPD allows you to avoid the Malak taunt and go straight after BF.

Why not use l3 instead of bb8? Bb8 is an essential part of resistance squad.

ilhan archy L3 doesn’t give all droids 40% TM to start the match. BB-8 certainly boosts resistance squads, but I believe they are still very effective without him, especially after the Finn rework. If you have the resources to run this team it is absolutely worth decreasing the effectiveness of your Resistance squad to form a reliable DR counter.

Nice BD !! But IPD's zeta is that necesary ?? It prevents they getting buffs, but apart of taunt, they don't get much more buffs

Loki Fobo yes this zeta keeps malak from taunting so that you can target bsf first. Without it your win rate drops to 50% because you have to crawl malak 1st and that doesn’t always work

Loki Fobo I don’t think it’s 100% necessary, but you lose out on some debuffs and have to do the turn order different. Maybe I need to do a video for that one too and test it’s reliability?

Владимир Could be a couple different factors. Do you have the T3 zeta granting armor penetration to all droids? Is 88s potency high enough that his debuffs are sticking? What is the starting health on Grievous?
