I did a light upgrade to my garage some time back and used an adapter I got off Amazon that screws into the light socket.

Looks great. Side note about the black 5 winged ones. Are they metal? I just bought metal ones and they are super bright but they get pretty hot. Did you notice that with yours.

No heat from these that concerns me. A little warmth, but not hot. Also the construction is all plastic. I am happy with the results for the cheap price. Now we’ll see how long they actually last
