the "woody is from andy's dad" is something I swear came from someone with some connection to old pixar talking about ideas they had or something and people just rolled with it cuz of pixar-brained channels made videos about it and treated it like canon.

I feel like the “nature vs nurture” purely depends on how you look at the movies. I can see Andy’s mom being Jessie’s previous owner and just had the hat in a box. I always assumed Buzz froze when he saw the others doing it and assumed it was normal. That or someone told him offscreen.

On my most recent rewatch of the toy story movies i actively chose to skip toy story 4 because to me it is udderly pointless. the ONLY thing i see happening in toy story 5 is maybe a prequel or something but I have 0 clue how they are going to continue from 4
