🤣 It's funny how shit works out sometimes. I appreciate your sacrifice lol. This set was sick. I haven't been able to go see them live since the Wormwood days, so I appreciate every quality live video I can get of them. I miss going to shows and sharing the stage with these dudes when they came around. Fun fuckin times.

Yeah I seen them when Vincent went through his Fuck everyone phase. He seems very different in this video
@xenophagia3 жыл бұрын
@@benpeschl7200 Seems like he's got a healthy balance of his god ol' nihilism with a contrast of wisdom and love these days. It sounds kind of contradictory, but it's kind of hard to put into words ya know? I'm sure you get what I mean. He's kind of always been that way though off the stage, it just seems like he's opened up more of himself on stage, if that makes sense? 🤣. Every time I've met him, from The Dead Walk era onward, he's always been super cool and supportive. Got to share the stage w/ them quite a few times over the years and it was always a blast. I remember the first time we opened for them, they took the time to show support and watch our set, without asking them to, even though we were basically fucking nobodies. Afterward, they gave us genuine positive feedback and they actually seemed pretty stoked. It felt really good to get that kind of support, and it really stuck with us and motivated us. So I think its really cool that Vincent is giving that same kind of support to the whole crowd while on stage. Can't wait til I can catch a show again. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to make it to a show since DL left, so I've really been looking forward to check out the "new" line-up. Damn, I just went on a whole nostalgia tangent, sorry about that shit lol. I'm just gonna shut up & go listen to The Dead Walk now...
@benpeschl72003 жыл бұрын
@@xenophagia no bro I totally get it. I am going nostalgic with you. Lol I feel like one of the original fans of the acacia strain and it's cool to talk music. You learn a lot from talks like these. I really miss shows man. And dl has awesome stage presence....nothing like that tone lol

26:26 We exist so you have a place to go. Where you feel welcomed. Where you feel like you’re not being judged. Where you feel safe. Where you feel like you belong, That’s what this is all about. Punk rock music, hardcore music, heavy metal music saved my fucking life. Because when I was a teenager I felt ostracized from every facet of social structure. I found punk rock, I found hardcore, I found heavy metal, and I finally found some place I belonged. Where I felt welcomed. Where I didn’t felt like everyone in the room was talking shit about me. I felt good. The music spoke to me. I had an outlet for my anger. I had somewhere to go, to talk to people about my depression. I finally found someplace where I felt like I was home. So I hope and I pray that you all feel like that tonight, and any time you walk through those doors. You are welcome here. You are safe. here. Have a good fucking time. Thank you.
