Probably because you went to cosmetology school and not business….. (which is nothing wrong) but you went to school to study cosmetology. Not accounting. I wouldn’t expect anyone to learn anything else besides cosmetics in cosmetology school.

I spent all of my 20s working on my bachelor’s in accounting. After taking Principles 1, Principles 2, Managerial Accounting, Theory 1, and Theory 2, I still can’t fully understand accounting. It’s all theory, and I never had the opportunity to gain practical experience in the field. I’ve given up.
