She probably really wanted her and Vegas probably wants to focus on seasoned players that could come in and get them a ring instead of building a rookie. That player is not worthy of time on a team going for it all. This, however, works out better for Kate as she will get another chance at a place that can afford the time to develop players.

When that report is base on less than 4 minutes a game, that is not reflective of true skills. Take a look at Indiana Fever and Lexie Hull. Her shooting was also down there while she was riding the pines. It became necessary to play her a couple of games mid-season, and she lit up the board. Suddenly her shooting was lights out. It was, it turns out, the lack of consistent playing time and not a lack of ability that led to her struggles. The same is true of Martin. Her averages for the few games she saw more than garbage minutes were decent numbers. If you give players a chance to shine at this level, they will either stink it up (think Reese's Cup) or shine.

@@heinleinreader Wrong. All you had to do was learn from the ESPN website that Kate Averaged 11.6 minutes a game. Per game she averaged: 2.6 points, 1.6 rebounds, less than 1 Assist, Steals and Blocks. She shot less than 31% which if not worst in the league, it's top 5 worst. Again, these stats do not get you time on a team gunning for a championship. She will get another shot with the Valkyries. You should look at yourself and question whether you say completely wrong stuff a lot in your everyday life.

You know that 11 minutes and 40 minutes are almost identical. Wow, did you ever show me. You are god, right? A real legend in your own mind. You might discover that you are as mistaken as every other idiot that thinks you can simply multiply by 4, and that will be what a person would have gotten if they played a full game. That's not the way it works, and anyone who has even 3 functional brain cells could tell that isn't the truth. Let's look at Lexie Hull, for example. Do you find that the math works if you just multiply her actual numbers by a factor of 4 or 6 to get what she actually wound up with? Not just no, but HELL no. She had less than 30% shooting overall when Christie Sides was abusing her on the bench. Yet she wound up with 47%+ for the season from 3-point range, instead of 30% total. That final 3-point percentage was the top in the league for all qualified people. Clearly, you have no idea how much effect regular playing time affects the actual results. When you play baseball, for example, you don't merely extrapolate the .208 average that the player has coming off the bench if they have to play more regularly. They may hit .325 as a regular, adding 12 homers and 15 doubles during the 35 games, they have to start to cover the injury that caused their increase in playing time. That is how reality works. What you offered is how an 8 year old handles calculus. Please stop trying to teach the teacher. I studied engineering. That includes advanced mathematics clearly far beyond your capacity. Stop embarrassing yourself. That hole you're digging is getting quite deep enough already. For the record, 11 minutes will never be sufficient time to qualify a player for any statistical listing, so she wasn't at the bottom, or even near it, on any list for the league.
