I think what may be screwing up a lot of people is Osha's sudden turn to the Dark side. However, it wasn't sudden at all, the show just tried to hide it from you by putting the sisters on the wrong sides of the conflict at the beginning. Mae is the bad guy at the start...but she's not the bad guy. She's empathetic, selfless, loyal (to everyone but the bad guy,) and cares only for getting justice for her murdered family. As soon as she discovers that her sister is still alive, she realizes that her need to get revenge isn't necessary, and decides to turn herself in. Osha, on the other hand, is the good guy at the start, the wrongly accused twin who is struggling to prove her innocence. Yet, she is the actual bad guy. She is self-centered, capricious, thin skinned, and does not care what harm she causes in pursuit of her own ego. In reality, Mae would have been a good recruit for the Jedi, while Osha has always been the prime candidate to become a Sith. If you want, you can sum up the two characters with that scene when they were children and practicing using the Force. One of the mothers tries to hit them with a wave of the Force, and what happens? Mae immediately puts her body in front of Osha and blocks the attack, while Osha makes no attempt at defense other than to instantly step behind her sister. It wasn't a move like, "I'll step behind Mae because I know she'll block it," but instead its, "I'll let Mae take the hit and I won't get hurt." As soon as Osha finds out what Sol did, he was a dead man walking. I would hazard to guess that her anger isn't coming from a place of grief for her family, its actually that she is offended and outraged that he lied to her.

dark side users are not always sith. kylo ren, ventress and the inquisitors were not sith. and yes sol had to die otherwise the line in ep1 where mundi said the sith havent been seen for 1000 years would no longer make sense. a jedi cannot know any ''sith'' are alive until mauls appearance

Just don’t react to season 2….. lol…. Since this season was awful 😅
