The ancient Acropolis in Athens, Greece, home of the Parthenon!
Spotty reception and respect for visitors kept me from getting closer, but this will give you a good overview of this millennia-old place of government, religion, philosophy, and commerce.

I was here twice 2010 & 2017- and was obsessed with this place- the thing I find fascinating about drone videos like yours of the underlying acropolis- is the tour guides called it a natural rocky outcropping- that the ancient parthenon temples were built upon- the scale is so big when you are walking up to the top that you can't see anything differently- but when you look at your footage & others- you can CLEARLY see that the acropolis itself is a manmade giant fort itself- you can see the flying buttresses on the side- the rock is different colors than the temples on the top- it posits that there was an older civilization that was moving rock around on a much larger scale than the puny relative parthenon. interesting to ponder at the very least! Makes me wonder if our glass and steel skyscrapers are still going to be around 2,000 years from now!

The Acropolis was wonderful. But you know the rest of Athens was...not pretty to me. Definitely interesting, but not my favorite.

@@9to5Drone yes the streets are pretty dirty and the scooter bikes will run you over. But the ancient sites are pretty amazing.

All I can tell is I flew there without any problems but I was also a few hundred yards away from the site itself.

That may very well have been the case. It has recently been brought to my attention that some of my US footage was not exactly compliant with FAA regulations. I have included a disclaimer on my US videos and will issue a similar one for this footage. I know you've already been there but please comply with any and all local regulations!

Yeahhhh haha one of those things where I thought that because you *could* take off, that it was legal. Luckily I didn't get into trouble but I'm being a lot more careful going forward. Not gonna lie though, I'm glad I was able to obtain this footage.@@SpikeySlayer
