He used to upload quite good video essays on games, regularly avoided politics and said as much in those videos. Then, recently, all of a sudden he's mr "giga chad" anti woke and it happened in a matter of a month... FULL heel turn.

Andy had 0 proof that he's some corporate paid for shill he offered 0 evidence that say concord devs, Disney (insert company name here) has him contracted and likely pays him to not talk about certain things. (You can't just say Act man is a bought amd paid for shill and have 0 evidence of it.) He was never sponsored by concord and he actually offered fair criticism of the game. He did leave a positive review on payday 3 after they flew him out but he did come back and say hey the game we played was localized and didn't have the issues the current release has but he did say the released game was a dumpster fire. I'll give it to act man he laid out pretty clear. He takes shots at both sides of the political spectrum because both sides deserve it. He explained that his videos that he makes are on video games, critiquing them etc and politics that come with the discussion of video games. However he said he does not make political videos talking about real life politics. He may have his own political takes that he shares on Twitter but those are not reflected in his videos about video games. ("I say dumb shit all the time on twitter") He has a legit point about how to critique games. If the game is bad say why. What mechanics, graphics story writing etc are bad but if you just say this is woke therefore game bad then it's not a critique of the entire game.

Biased opposition is not logical and can be harmful to rational thinking. If someone says driving in the wrong lane is dangerous it shouldn’t matter if Hitler said it, would you find yourself taking the side of a genocidal tyrant on this topic or is it hard to take his side on that stance because of other things he had said and done.
