Bajpayee, Vijayasethupathi and Parvathy: shortlisted. The rest can go home. Khurrana's a good actor but he's predictable ... The contexts are very varying from ED to sexual orientation to appearance but you know the verdict. He has to experiment more ... Bhatt's onscreen persona is awesome. Offscreen is better off being quiet. And I never got her showing bum to Parvathy ... The latter comes from a socially conscious state: she cannot help talk serious.

Watched the full interview earlier and thought of the same what I'm thinking right now... that actress parvati's logic is just out of the world. She watched some movies and she had a bad relationship. Ok but what's the connection? Did she mean her boyfriend watched the same movies?💁‍♂️ And who tf even wants to know about her personal life? She's the victim in her story but what if it was the other way around? We'll never get to know. And it's not like anybody gives a damn either😒 Her problem is with Vijay doing arjun reddy. But isn't he the same guy who was in pelli choopulu which had one of the most well written female lead? An actor's job is to act. Why should he/she be responsible for how the audience is implicating them? And by her logic should we start calling out the recent trend of making the so called feminist movies which are all about normalizing cheating and adultery🙄

That movie could have been done for present audience in which counseling, rehab and basically made it an issue based film instead of relationship, love story being responsible for anyone’s drastic behavior. The movie came of as spoon feeding same stereotypes, don’t blame actor as the director has views from his generation that informs him. That being said the remake is useless since it didn’t do anything different when it could, why would movie years ago be relevant and fit to remake today.

Parathy shouldn't make her point on misogynist movies on a public platform since even critics and actors justify their movie for the sake of entertainment. Its better to discuss with filmmakers and have similar discussion between directors and actors. An actor should not have to defend director and movie once the film is done and should look it from outside perspective.
