@corey22323 күн бұрын
Sure, it can spin in reverse, but the problem is the direction of the blades. You get better airflow when they spin in a specific direction, that's why it'd be better to just turn your fans around.
@saliosnoctin77973 күн бұрын
Indeed, though it is a good idea to have a button to be able to stop them without shutting down the pc so you could clean them or fix something without damaging your fans or your fingers. The reverse would work in certain instances that required a short burst of reversed air but not for long term air flow purposes as that'd be more efficient with the direction of the blades themselves. Good catch there.

Only the intake will run at full efficiency. Sure it can spin backwards but the direction of the blades makes a massive difference when it comes to the amount of air intake you achieve
@Juju0LM3 күн бұрын
But the question is: what about those who, for the sake of beauty, don't even worry about the direction of the fans and leave the Air flow all wrong, just keeping the rear fan and the holes in the case safeguarding the PC from spontaneously explosion ? For those people, these fans are perfect!

when u have 10 fans I'm sure a couple not running at full efficiency makes no difference

@ that’s not the point.

@ imagine you have a single AIO and a dual stack secondary. Your secondary runs intake and you set your AIO to run reverse as exhaust. @gtALIENКүн бұрын
@Garagelifestyle98 YOURE the one that's not getting the point, the whole reason for this feature is for aesthetics, not specific cooling features. If you've built a high end fish tank PC you'll realize how annoying it is to make sure you have reverse bladed fans or double sided fans to make sure the aesthetics stay on point while the intake and exhaust configurations are still the same. Think before you comment

For my build, I got a few Thermaltake SWAFAN packs. They’re typical ARGB fans, except they also come with spare reverse blades, so if you want reverse blades, just pop the regular blades out and swap ‘em out for the reversed variety.

An airforce design is only supposed to work in 1 direction. Spinning it in reverse will move some air in the reverse direction, but a lot less than normal. To make reversible fans they will need to change the design and make it less optimized as a normal fan. So expect higher temps and louder fans

Most of the time forward facing fans means air is getting pulled in with the “nice looking side being see from the outside into the case. Get the 7900 XTX if you want the best AMD GPU, if you want ray tracing then Nvidia.
