Building mine at the moment - fantastic kit , nice and clear drawings and some videos of the build to watch as well ! Most importantly for me is it is Assie designed and made !

Veoma komplikovan sistem. Pohvala za snimke izrade različitih delova na glodalici i strugu ,koji će mnogima probuditi maštu i kreativnost.

This makes me grateful that I inherited a T&C grinder (actually a universal). I just need to learn to use it... Very cool system, though, for those who have not been blessed with a machine to do this. I'm impressed by how much time you have clearly spent on the design. It's a shame that most won't have the patience or attention span to learn it, as this could be in every home machine shop. Hopefully it makes its way into enough to reward you for your work. :)

Great video. It will be invaluable to use the system correctly. Thank you.

The build videos are very helpful in assembling the kit. According to the numbering scheme, it looks like several are missing from your playlist. Are they available?

at 12:11 . Is that an extra fly wheel on the end of the grinder?

Is it possible to grind a 4 flute endmill with this? I'm guessing you would need a narrow cutting blade to gash the endmill
@eccentricengineer5 жыл бұрын
Yes a four flute endmill can be sharpened. The easiest way is to use the standard grinding wheel to grind the primary and secondary angles and then cross through the center with a thin cutoff wheel or the corner of the normal wheel. For a center cutting endmill you would need to use a flared cup wheel.

HI, How did you modify the right side of your grinder to take a ginding wheel like that. Isn't a belt sander was there....? Thanks for the vids
@eccentricengineer8 жыл бұрын
Hi Eiffel Yes the grinder did originally have a linishing belt on the right hand side which I removed so I could mount the CBN wheel. I originally tried a smaller Ryobi grinder but found it got quite hot when running for extended periods with a heavy wheel. I've had no problem with this one and it's pretty quiet.

hi, i looked up the system, and it is not listed in the US as your page says, i would be interested to know a price, that is one of the most impressive end mill sharpeners i have seen... thanks

Hi Chuck Thanks for your comments. Village Press are my distributor in the USA and stock most of my products but unfortunately not the Acute Sharpener at the moment. The kit and drawings are available on the Eccentric Engineering website shop in several versions and I do ship worldwide. www.eccentricengineering.com.au/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=33&Itemid=3 Cheers Gary

if you can talk in your videos they would be much better
@eccentricengineer8 жыл бұрын
I had intended doing a voice over afterwards as I'm not naturally used to talking while I'm working. In the end it took so long to film and edit I just had to get it uploaded as is. I've got no idea how KZbinrs like Abom79 manage to put out one or two machining videos a week.
