They always have scenes like that lol. It's always so obvious the antagonist ruined the dress/painting/whatever too, because otherwise why would they just randomly show up to check and make sure that it got there properly? Like, if you were actually worried about it arriving intact, and you're going there anyways why not just take it yourself? It doesn't make sense to have someone else deliver something just for you to go at the same time
