The Adventure of Beir Umq in Oman

The adventure of Beir Umq includes off roading in a steep mountainous road to Beir Umq village in Qalhat and then we walked 500 m through the farms to the start of the water pools and we started our journey then.
The adventure took to many long deep water pool so life jacket is recommended.
The adventure includes: hiking , abseiling, jumping into water pools. Last jump was 10 m high and it had to be done to finish the adventure so better not have fear of heights.
You pass by two caves and the second one is the largest and includes a challenging abseiling down the water fall.
Longest pool to swim through is 600m
Total distance is 8 KM out of which 6 KM of total swimming.
Depending on the stamina and level of fitness , this trip could take 14 hours. So bring nutritious bites in a waterproof bag.
Level : Moderate to advanced.
