@robertlombardo84373 жыл бұрын
That was what I loved about this track and the stage that accompanied it. It perfectly encapsulated, in my opinion, just what it was like to be Batman fighting the Joker. There's been a breakout at Arkham and the Joker's thugs are out in force. He's celebrating his birthday by robbing the Gotham City Bank and lighting all the surrounding blocks on fire. It's up to Batman to fight them all off and save Gotham City.

I really like the soundtrack for this game, but saying that it's the most impressive is a toss-up at best. Contra Hard Corps has a kick ass soundtrack, as well as Gunstar Heroes. I still love when people try and claim that the Genesis didn't have as good a sound chip as the Super Nintendo/Famicon. Lots of companies didn't use it to its full potential, not a single game on the SNES library that I like the music to as much as I do this or The Hard Corps.

Mustang McKraken Streets of Rage 2. All that needs to be said.
@mustangmckraken11509 жыл бұрын
Meh, idk. I liked it, yeah, but it sounded mediocre imo when compared to the other games on the platform. Might be my personal taste, but from a technical standpoint the soundtrack for Hard Corps is much more dynamic and fast-paced.
@LeeONardo9 жыл бұрын
+Mustang McKraken Streets of Rage 2 - SOR super mix. My single favourite piece of game music of all time. SOR2 was literal perfection. Not gonna say your choice is bad by any means (hard corps is a GREAT game, along with of course this games too) but SOR2 was just something else lol I also agree with you about the SNES music. I always found that the music was weaker and/or more "wimpy" than the harder/stronger/harsher sound of the Megadrive. "The Escape" from Aladdin is a perfect example to me of how the Megadrive sound just makes a track work over SNES/PC sounds.
