I was first introduced to Spot through the promos on the Winnie the Pooh VHSs. Then I read the original "Where's Spot?" book, saw the "Spot Goes to the Farm" VHS, and then afterwards, I watched the "Where's Spot" VHS quite a few times often. Then years later I discovered the British version of the series and stuck with that one since.

Those are all of Spot's friends & neighbors. Billy Bear, Sydney Snake, Helen Hippo (and Tiki Tickbird), Lenny Lion, Tom Crocodile, and Claire Tortoise. The only characters & places that were in the book, but not this cartoon were Steve Monkey (who was hiding in the wardrobe) & the penguin trio (who were hiding in a trunk).
