Well, I sit listening to this rendition of We Shall Overcome with tears running down my face ... it is purely beautiful! I am in my 70's and was a teen during the Civil Rights Era and remember each and every incident, song, battle, murder, and the achievements and overcomings that transpired for our people, for all people, because of battles we fought and won. Thank you Aeolians of Oakwood University, young adults all, for your thoughtfulness, and for giving hope, inspiration and comfort, during these amazingly challenging times! I love you all ... my (grands and great-grands) children, our future, our comfort ... God please continue to bless, and cover their lives as warriors in this battle for peace and love, thru song and awareness, Amen.

@@carmenalvarezfreeman5647 how ignorant and fearful are people who discriminate by colour, sex or anything other than sins. 'By their fruits we know them and blessed are the peacemakers for they are all children of God and by their fruits we know them.' This poem illustrates how God's Love transcends everything to the One Love common to all humanity for Healing All Nations and Heaven on Earth as promised by God who is Love, through Jesus Christ. Amen. There are no divisions with God's Love, no Jew nor Greek nor gentile with Gods Love, only Oneness through the whole spirit of Love Anointed namely, Jesus Christ. We are One through Faith and Love with grace, Amen Life God's Love and faith transcend any doctrine with the whole spirit anointed, namely Jesus Christ. There are no divisions with the Christ Love, we are all One through God's Love made whole and One in us for Healing for All Nations and Heaven on Earth as promised by God who is Love, through Jesus Christ, Amen. Ameen, Shalom...Twofold Peace: Jerusalem for every Nation where we 'will learn war no more' Isaiah 2:4 for life in accord with God's Love to prevail. Life is not about what gender But about our thinking and reasoning abilities. Life is not about sex But about feelings care and making Love. Life is not about anxiety, stress and fear But about Love, hope and trust. Life is not about fighting, enmity and violence But about Peace, harmony, trust and faith. Life is not about fear and negativity But about being positive, loving and kind. Life is wonderful if and only if We cultivate Positive Love. God's Love is always positive + God's Love is not a cortisol stress hormone but an endorphin blood made whole and One in us for Healing for All Nations and Heaven on Earth as promised by God who is Love through Jesus Christ, Amen. Apocalyptic Poem Revelation 6 The red, black and pale horses ride with thunder... Thunderous clouds of hail and snow Bringing cold wherever they go Reaching to lands far and wide Going to affect many new brides Not what they had planned for their wedding days Psychopathic games being played Games of hunger, death and thrones Ice reaching inside, inside to their bones Reaching the marrow, harrowing thoughts Causing divisions of all sorts Dichotomies of mind Tipping the scales away from man being kind. Tipping to fractions of slated grey Slavery to states of being not gay Slavery to hunger, thirst and no day Slavery to making no hay. Slavery riding into the day Galloping our freedoms away Causing our blood to rage like the sea Burning as an ember tree Causing the charcoal to burn somewhere new Making potash, a chance to renew Time to release the pure white horse Jousting with the paler horse Knocking him far off course With a new form of discourse The red horse cannot fail to stumble Causing all the greed to crumble Causing the black horse to turn his back And turn around and head right back Into the darkness, the density. Time to bring out the city of Gold That we have been waiting since times of old Galloping white horses bringing the food To avoid those negative moods Making fields of darkness white like snow Placing footprints showing which way to go. From Parousia, Love's Light by Francess. I use 'gay' as in happy. 'Reaching the marrow harrowing thoughts causing divisions of all sorts' = cancer and other blood diseases from stress. 'Negative moods' depression amd mental health problems. Jesus Christ was born To stable our autonomic stress response by upholding moral and kind Love. I understand the white horse as Jesus returning with the sword of His spirit as judgement. Jesus Christ is returning quickly, come to the reasoning of the healing consciousness of New Jerusalem, The Holy City, Zion. The stones will cry out, this is the cry I hear #Loveisnotacortisol 🕊💖🕊

August 28, 1963 I want to Washington, DC for the march to see Dr. King. I was 19. I marched in the streets of NYC and stood on the steps of the courthouse during the arrest of the Panther 13. Yes I fought along side of so many people who fought for Civil Rights. Our movement freed everyone regardless of color because it was about human rights. And now as this virus is killing so many of us we will not be defeated because as always "WE RISE". Thank you for this beautiful beautiful version.

...and I'm teared up. Amen. This song was an anthem back in the late 50s as part of the civil rights movement. 30 years after this, I sang this song at Boy Scout summer camp back in the late eighties every Friday at our American Heritage program in recognition and remembrance of Dr Martin Luther King and the civil rights movement... 30 years after Dr King's early and violent departure from this world. ...and 30 years later, in 2020, this song is still relevant, 60 years since the civil rights movement since things are still not equal for all. We've come a long way but still have a ways to go... and I have faith. We shall overcome... we must.

I am listening to this on Martin Luther King, Jr., Day-January 17, 2022. We are in a time of great stress, loss, and struggle as the pandemic continues with huge numbers of new infections every day, a medical system that is breaking, a Senate that won't pass voting rights laws because all of GOP and a couple of Democrats won't make it possible, an ever-worsening climate crisis, the lasting damage from the January 6, 2021 insurrection and threat from anti-government militias and instigators of violence and white supremacists, and continuing push to make this country autocratic and fascist, and much more. It is too much to shoulder. Yet this is the anthem, the song that we need to hear over and over. Thank you for the spectacular performance. Who is the tenor soloist? WOW. And the entire choir is great. Congratulations Dr Jason Max Ferdinand.

Hello, Aeolians of Oakwood U! I happened to hear a snippet of this magnificent song on "Democracy Now!" this morning, and had to come find it for the whole thing. I cannot offer any accolades that you haven't already gotten. HOWEVER - I counted 36 people. So, I would advise those who manufacture the Stellar Awards, the Grammys, the ones from Lincoln Center - they need to get to work, 'cause they have a lot to pass out when this is over. You are the BEST. God bless you all, and stay safe in these weird times.
