"The Afghan Whigs. That's all you need to know." Goddamn right Dave.

Dave has ALWAYS said this about any of Greg Dulli's projects, especially the Gutter Twins when they were on before Lanegan died.

OMG the amount of movement and energy in this performance is insane!

Every Afghan Whigs performance needs a couple of brothers like the two in this set. Adds that funk and flavor!

Just saw the AW in Tampa last night. At the Q&A Dulli said that it was great to perform on all the shows but Letter man was his fav. At the end of the performance you can see why!

This is a modern day Rolling Stones performance. I've seen Greg, the Whigs, and side projects for the past 30 years. This is IT.

No doubt! I saw them w Teenage Fanclub on the Congregation tour in St.Pete and I've been in love ever since. Missed them on the Black Love tour, but all the others. I'm in awe of how Dulli has kept the Whigs fresh and relevant over 30 years. This performance is proof.

I've been listening to this album for years and only now in 2021 I realized it's "Do TO the beast" not "Do the beast" .... I might be slow,

Phenomenal performance...this has under 8k views...can somebody explain this to me?!! Is there another version, in a parallel universe, that secretly (and shamefully) hides the other million views?!! Justice is might!

Love the Whigs. I tried to see them in NYC at the Beacon Theater on this tour but their amps were SO FUCKING LOUD I had to leave after the second song. Painful bummer, man! (Did manage to see them on the Black Love, 1966 and Twilight Singers tours and they killed it each time.)

In Montreal, Greg himself provided earplugs to people in the crowd.

I saw them at Bogart’s in Cincinnati about 20 years ago right after Black Love. I’ve probably been to 40 concerts since then and that was the loudest show I’ve ever seen. I probably lost some of my hearing that night, but it was fantastic.

i never ever understood people complaining about volumen at rock shows. Do you really like rock? Perhaps you're a corporate radio/spotify guy deep inside who pretends like "alternative" stuff to look cool.

@@Braulios_Penesecou Hearing damage is real, plenty of musos have it. Having said that the original poster should have moved up the back and taken some ear plugs.
@Braulios_Penesecou3 жыл бұрын
@@markeggins890 music its notbas damage as industrial/work noise. The constant change in frequencies in music avoid damage by repetition. Worked as a live tech. in festival and obviously i wear earplugs during the summer, but when attending just one concert as an audience i never ever wear esrplugs, if you want home friendly dbspl levels put the record at home.
