I think Botswana has the capability of becoming the second dubai due to their control of corruption and the control of their minerals. Mostly when a country takes a control of those two components, the country grows rapidly. How happy are the citizens there.

As Motswana I have nothing but being proud of this country , from my own experience anything you want to do Gorvnment is there to assist, um not saying we are a perfect country but I can say we have perfect police, in most countries, Police is not as friendly as they are should be but here you can count on they Police. And ther other thing is homeless people they is no one who is homeless every has where he lives. The other thing that makes me love my country is that the Government has made it home , we have free visa to other European countries including the UK but 90% of people my country don't got outside to look for jobs and we prefer developing our country so other people can come to us.

The British gave Botswana protection from Cicil John Rhodes in 1885 before the discovery of diamonds. The first diamonds in Botswana were discovered in 1967, one year after the country gained independence from Britain.

They didnt know about our diamods, if they knew, things would have been very different. Our resources are ours, hence the developments. Botswana is not perfect, but I am blessed to be a motswana. We are generally loving, and peaceful people. We find joy in little things and we always seek improvement. We recently changed our governing party for the first time in history. The transition was peaceful and we are excited for a new chapter in the book of our country.

I have travelled to different African countries and just the traffic congestion of cars and motorbikes is scary and you even fail to cross a busy road 😅 because you are not used to the kind of congestion and potholes. So many weird things happen in other African countries like kenya, Naija weddings and Nigeria kidnapping and bokoharam. Also our neighboring countries. Im scared to drive to South Africa because i was once robbed of my car in that country. In my country you will not find those. God bless Botswana

@@carolletebele3639 so what’s the difference between you guys; South Africa has tribes who originally Botswana
@klaw1425
@klaw1425 7 күн бұрын
@@carolletebele3639 Yes, some tribes in South Africa have historical connections to Botswana, as the region’s borders were drawn during colonial times and do not reflect the cultural and tribal boundaries that existed previously. Many groups traditionally moved across what is now South Africa and Botswana, sharing linguistic, cultural, and historical ties. Examples include: 1. Tswana People: The Tswana ethnic group is native to Botswana but also has a significant population in South Africa, particularly in the North West Province, Gauteng, and parts of Limpopo. The Tswana people on both sides of the border share similar languages and traditions. 2. Khoisan Influence: The Khoisan people, indigenous to southern Africa, also historically moved through areas now considered South Africa and Botswana. Their presence predates most modern national borders. 3. Ndebele and Bakgatla Tribes: Certain subgroups of the Ndebele and Bakgatla tribes also share origins or connections with Botswana. These shared roots demonstrate the interconnected history of communities in southern Africa, where cultural and linguistic ties often transcend modern political boundaries.
@carolletebele3639
@carolletebele3639 7 күн бұрын
@@klaw1425 this is like saying Nigeria is Ghana. We are Africans, we definitely have roots from various tribes, within pur country or across the border, but that doesn't make us the same country. We have soo many cultural differences. Just like u have Ndebeles there. Does it mean, Zimbabwe is South Africa? Come on

Yet America brings her woman hating fundamentalist cult religion to Botswana. I don't understand why our government allows this. We have all these American fundamentalist cult religions destabilizing our society and being given the green light. We don't need Jehovah's witnesses, Mormons and seventh day Adventism in our country. All they do is bring their capitalist brutality if oppressing women into breeding while young and poor before establishing themselves. Our government has failed us in this regard.
