The actual line of the West African coastal Megalopolis is Abidjan to Douala, stretching through the Southern Nigerian coastline into littoral Cameroon, not Abidjan to Lagos. After Lagos, there are still several huge Nigerian urban centres dotting the coastline, some even bigger than some of the cities situated on the urban line between Abidjan and Lagos, for example, Port Harcourt. This would become even more important after the entire Nigerian coastline is connected by a super Highway which will run parallel to the coast from the Lagos Metropolis in its western end to Calabar on its eastern end, a project which the Nigerian government has already commenced.

Urbanization is only impressive when accompanied by actual well thought-out PLANNING!! Sadly a lot of the urbanization discussed in this video will be dominated by unplanned settlements and poor infrastructure. Also, a growing population of people with no access to good schooling, healthcare, potable water is a disaster waiting to happen.

Few head ups: 1- Law and order in society and stable government is important for growth. 2- Education, Education, Education. 3- Don‘t get confused between old school "Colonialism" and modern concept of "Globalisation and Supply Chain". Don‘t be Xenophobic, and back to tribalism. 4- Stay away from Extreme religions and extreme political idealogy. Focus on economic growth and nothing else. 5- Work hard. ☺😊

It absolutely has the potential to be a major economic are in the future. However, stability and corruption has been Africa's Achilles heel for decades. Multiple neighboring countries has had military coups and there's a real possibility of war in the area. Those factors will continue to gold this region back until Africa can promote real and lasting stabily.

What makes a Nation Great is the Leadership !!! I challenge that White Voice to explain to me what Qualities, what Values, what Actions, what Ideology explain the Greatness of the Leaders in those countries that White is talking about. For a country to become relevant, it needs a Leadership comparable to that of Japan, South Korea, China, Russia, Cuba, Vénézuela of late Chavez or the Leadership of the US even though it's a Force of Terror. Who are those who are ruling most African countries ? Nationalist Leaders or Puppets, Traitors, their own Populations vomit ? Don't you insult Our Intelligence with your ridiculous pseudo analysis of those African countries you've chosen.
