The most critical moment for luffy. For the past... what, week or so? Luffy has been through more losses than he has ever had his whole life. He lost his whole crew at sabaody; if Kuma didn't send him away he was dead. He was almost poisoned to death at impel down; if Jimbei crocodile and ivan wasn't there, he would have died a few times. He was one of the weakest among the big names at the war of the best. The saddest part is the person he came to save saved him instead. And suddenly you think about all of luffy's big wins. He BARELY survived them. Moria, Crocodile, Rob Lucci, he barely scraped by. This is the point that Oda is trying to drive home with the war. You thought this world is big? Its WAAAAY bigger than that. There are people so strong that Luffy 's whole crew wouldn't be able to touch them. Luffy may be strong but he's only made it this far because he's lucky. VERY LUCKY.... and they're not even in the New World yet. So where does he go from here?

​@@eldenlord666 This is partially true. I think that it's if "more than enough people" can figure out him, but it's not true what you said. I've seen many theories been confirmed true. Especially a theory who pretty much guessed the whole Whole cake island incident and Germa 66 with Sanjis past only because it said "Only Alive" on the post and it ended up actaully happening in the Story. That's just one example of the many where i've seen theories actually been confirmed later on, so its not "oh someone predicted me now I need to change the story" no. it's if everyone guesses it and if he sees everyone talking about it, then yes, that's probs when he will change the story.

Such an amazing scene. The music, the voice acting. Dadan's voice actress especially. And Garp just laying there. The legendary marine hero. Who failed at guarding his beloved adoptive grandson. After the war, up until this point, he must've heard nothing but praise. What a victory it was for the marines. How he held off the Whitebeard commanders with ease. How he struck fear in the hearts of the pirates and inspired the marines. And not a single person to apprehend him for failing his grandsons. Dadan's beating must've felt cathartic.

The Marineford arc and this aftermath solidified Jinbei as one of my all-time favorite characters. Ace's will to protect Luffy lives on as Jinbei watches over Luffy. The dynamic between him and the two brothers is just amazing.
