Fun fact: in the original script for ragnarok, when thor hit kratos on the head it was gonna outright kill him, the game was then gonna skip 20 years later with a full grown atreus breaking kratos out helheim, but santa monica rejected it because they did not want another game where kratos just dies and breaks out.

Didn't Yasha take a ton of hits from him and hit him with that hard ass line then one-shotting him? Then he later hit Asura so hard it destroyed his transformation then he immediately went after the strongest of the Seven Deities, Deus? Asura and Yasha were pretty comparable by the end of the main story, then Asura got way better in the DLC.
