This was one of the biggest scenes I’ve dealt with in my full year of being in SAF. I had Metro that night, sent them in a matter of 2 minutes when I knew something wasn’t right. I’m glad I sent them when I did. Ended up having over 45 LEO units in my channel, dealing with radio traffic. I really enjoyed being on Dispatch that night. As often happens in the real world, dispatch/controllers are not recognized enough. As a child of 2 L.E., nephew of a firefighter/EMT/driver, and being a future L.E. I was fighting tears, because I am in a community where I had lost a deputy and the end of this reminded me of this .I just want to say you did an amazing job I just wish that I recorded my story line and I could have showed it.
