*Spoilers* My opinions I watched the FNaF movie last weekend (and plan to watch it again) and it was a great experience. The theater was lively and people had great outfits. The movie was so hype in the theater and it was a great time altogether. The actors and the Animatronics were amazing. The cameos were perfect and not too much but just enough. (Sad Markiplier couldn’t make it, he better be in the sequel) It was like a mix between the Silver eyes and the games, which works. It was a good movie but for FNaF it should have been a bit better. I think the Vanessa is Williams kid was weird and random but it works in the context of the movie. The movie makes more sense that way and when you think about it, making Mike ‘Michael’ would have been difficult to do and have it make sense. They should have had more William, Lillard is amazing and they super under used him. He was literally the best thing in the movie. I know he’ll be in the sequel but it’s not the same. It wasn’t scary, like at all. Why was the scariest thing Balloon Boy (my friend literally was jumping at every single one) but this was my first ‘horror’ movie in theaters because I don’t do scary movies but this didn’t scare me, or even make me paranoid [Which the FNaF games do ALOT]. I get the Pg13 ratting but still at least a few animatronic jumpscares. Literally FNaFs signature. I wanted them to actually ‘play’ FNaF 1 and use the cameras and the doors. But the doors aren’t the FNaF 1 doors, and they barley used the cameras :( I just wanted a scene where Mike looks at the camera, look away, then looks back and the animatronics have moved. Or just a scene where they are locked in the office and defend from the animatronics. (That didn’t end in escaping through the vent) I would have liked an actual phone guy in a tape recorder. (So scott could have a cameo) Finally, the springlock scene.. the blood was fine, I don’t personally like a lot of gore anyway so it was fine for me. I just think William should have been panicking and screaming blood murder, like he was dying (because he was). Him screaming would have just made it more scary. The slow Springlocks were okay, but after like a few they should have just all went off at once (with William still screaming bloody murder. Maybe crying for Vanessa forgetting he stabbed her or something) But over all I loved it and I can’t wait for the sequel. Thank you Scott and Team for finally getting us the movie after all this time. The movie was amazing and If you haven’t seen it (what are you doing here) go see it!
