"William and Glitchtrap are not the same person" Me, memeing: aight imma head out While that sort of thing does usually bother the shit out of me, because it's often used as a way to excuse why it's okay to like a evil character by passing the buck of responsibility for their bad deeds onto someone else, consequently annulling any agency they might've had, but it seems a bit of a stretch... Unless, of course, you're finally gonna be the creator brave enough to make FNAF a stable timeloop of William Afton, as Glitchtrap, going back in time and taking over his own body to make things better for himself, as a sort of Peggy Sue story, only for everything to happen all over again, but in a somewhat different manner... or, perhaps, making multiple timelines valid by having somethings that contradict happen in different timelines... And all that sort of thing happening through the power of the thorn in all theorists sides: The Time Travelling Ballpit! And, honestly, I don't know why this sort of thing hasn't been explored: how many timelines that theorists put together are so convoluted, that could be fixed by putting together multiple timelines, instead... Oh god, I just realized that I'm gonna have to buy a corkboard, sticky notes, thumbtacks and twine, and all the FNAF Games and Books... might have to do it digital as well, just in case...

Wow... okay, listen. Afton was a terrible person. He killed kids, yeah. Both of his children died due to animatronic error. Machines HE MADE. He experimented with human souls he took. But he paid OVERTIME with the springlock failure. Then, he got burned to death, which is one of the worst ways to go. Then instead of burning in hell, which is bad enough, he got killed by HIS machines over and over, in what we can assume was more and more brutal ways. And the cherry on top? He was experimenting with souls to bring back his kids. That's a lot for ANYONE, but especially for someone who's already deranged...
