The lecture deals with the political, social and economic history than literary history. It would be better if they could concentrate on the poets and their creations.

They do. Look for next few lectures. This is an introduction class that discusses history, politics,socio economics etc... for better understanding of literature

@@dipaliborkar218 I'm certain that the age is "dominated" by the "term" imagination. Quite literally, it means that when we talk about the Romantic Age, we use the "term" imagination to describe it. What you might mean is that "the age was heavily influenced by the imagination of the poets". Hope this helps.
