I am so sorry this happened to you. You did nothing wrong and did not deserve any of this attention from someone you ‘should’ have been able to trust. With that said. Good on you for being YOU and sharing your story. While this was not my story as a younger individual and my coming out process, it IS really important that stories like this are told so that stories like this can be prevented. While seeing content like this is sad, it is ALSO so very IMPORTANT to be told and shared, so good on you for that.

Looking forward to finding out in Part 2 how your parents reacted. The way my parents responded to my assault (not a teacher) was the thing that broke my heart and soul...refusing to talk about it and telling me to do the same because they were so afraid that if people knew it would reflect badly on them. Oh, and I was shocked to learn you're sarcastic...never would have guessed! 🤭

This is so wild. I had a similar situation where I was groomed by a female teacher in H.S and she was 28 married and had a child, other teachers knew so it was a culture of silence. The main lesson i learned that only you can get closure the perpetrator may never give it to you. You are the only source of your healing.
