@@AGMusa IDK if it is too late to implement this, but if you can do a software update on this in the future to allow for totally custom reticles it would be a game changer. Something like you draw the reticle on MS paint or a proprietary software, or even just manually drawing the reticle one pixel at a time in the scope would be huge, because it would allow proper BDCs to be made. One of the reasons I use a Browe optic (which is a $1,500 scope) is because it has a blackout reticle similar to the original LVC pitched to SOF.) On one side of the vertical axis are tick marks for supersonic holds and the other side are tick marks for subsonic holds. If I were able to draw this onto the rattler it would almost render all these other prism optics obsolete because for less money you would get thermal capabilities and the fast shot placement of the ACOG into one. While most people use clip ons for holdovers, some guns like SBRs do not have enough rail space to support a scope and a clip on, especially if a laser or switches are mounted on the top rail.

I like the shortened throw of the focus, improves sighting so much more. The locking lense cap is great too so it doesn't flop around and possibly break off. Don't want to wreck the lense.

Yes! The new V2 is a terrific upgrade from the V1, which is a great unit itself. My problem is I bought the V1 a month before the V2 came out. Before making my purchase, I asked if any new models were coming out and the retailer said no. So when it in fact came out, I went back to the dealer and voiced my displeasure. The dealer said he had no prior knowledge of the V2 coming out. He would of course allow me to "trade in" my used unit and upgrade to the V2. My unit has not been used and is new in the box, so why would I take a loss, a substantial loss, due to circumstances not within my control? AGM would not intervene, they want me to deal with the retailer. I really wish I had the V2.

Love the upgrades! Long battery life on a stand alone unit is a must! I think the higher end models would suit my needs more here on the farm. Small to medium animals are my biggest threat, Then knowing I can reach out and touch the food chain in the middle of the night is fantastic! In Iraq I hunted a different type animal with thermals and the sensors make all the difference! Happy to see they have gotten a lot smaller than the ones I used back then!

Generally I dislike any sort of proprietary battery but given the space considerations it makes sense. Nice to see such a long battery life on the V2 (Also 18650 batteries are Lithium-ion, just smaller than whatever custom bundle this uses)

I like how easy it is to pop in a battery and close the battery compartment up. The USB charging port is an even better addition since you chose rechargeable batteries, I’m always carrying a battery bank anyway so this is clutch!

As a photographer that often works at night I appreciate the use of a lion battery in the new units. I'm curious why it's got a narrow dof and requires focus where my daytime rifle scopes don't.
