Her singing fucking mesmerizes me. I immediately get hooked on any song by The Agonist with Alissa the moment I hear her sing.
@TomboyCactus10112 жыл бұрын
I absolutely agree. 100%. Alissa is a much better role model for girls than the pop "stars". Alissa does things from the heart and she stands for what she believes in. Those trashy young stars can learn alot from Alissa.

And as a reward : Everything's gone wrong! Sea Salt is burning through the land that's beside us, Attempt feelings; Man will never be in control. Stormy skies drowning although one's been dry. No disregard for everything that is going your way. Feed up what you've thrown. When I'm tortured, murdered and then thrown away. But Feel No Guilt, we all seem to know what we need to hear every day. Step away what you don't own; kick the devil off his throne, mischief only goes one way. Blood is not enough to flood all the landscapes. Around us the trees are falling and they make no sound. Nothing ever happened if no one's around. A million statues must now fill the lanes. But then we work with speed, far to a sign. True is made of life. When I'm tortured, murdered and then thrown away. But Feel No Guilt, we all seem to know what we need to hear every day. Step away what you don't own; kick the devil off his throne, mischief only goes one way. Blood is not enough to flood all the landscapes. Contrary out... The world is not welded of steel. More deadly come last in lane. The shadow in here. {She whispers something I can't hear} Awe is not all, treason we clear. Conscious all Verona. Sterile, give in. Step away what you don't own; kick the devil off his throne, mischief only goes one way. We are all wrong and before long, we're gonna pay

Using some of your comments and trying to listen to the song's lyrics, I have made an approximate guess of what the lyrics are; Everything’s gone wrong! Sea Salt is burning through the land that’s beside us, Attempt feelings; Man will never be in control. Stormy skies drowning although one’s been dry. No disregard for everything that is going your way. Feed up what you’ve thrown. Nothing ever happened if no one’s around. Contrary out… The world is not welded of steel. More deadly come last in lane. The shadow in here. {She whispers something I can’t hear} Awe is not all, treason we clear. Conscious all Verona. Sterile, give in. The Japanese get bonus tracks because their country is populated by ninja, sumo, street racers, and anime characters who exist in a sort of Who Framed Roger Rabbit of the Rising Sun? sort of plane of existence. And they're REALLY good at math and video games. Valiant and honorable sacrifices of the samurai have indeed paid off.

alissa is a great role model for young girls to look up to. even if you aren't a vegan and don't necessarily believe in what she believes is right - this female is one that takes pride in things she cares about. she writes from her heart. sings from her soul. and quite frankly is a far more befitting role model to the teenage society as opposed to what generic pop sensations corrode the minds of our youth with.

It's actually because the local cd prices are quite different from the ones in the West (mostly higher). To prevent the Japanese from importing cheaper versions, they often put bonus tracks on their local releases.

Has anyone been able to locate lyrics for this song. This is my favorite METAL band and been listening to them almost every day for almost 2 years now. I cant get enough of the amazing guitar rifts and epic drums and needlesstosay the who edge Miss Allisa brings to the table. Her voice gives me chills all the time. Ill admit it, The Agonist/The Tempest is to me as Justin Beiber is to 13year old girls. But I REALLY wanna know these lyrics. Cant get the whispers and the slow growls

Even my 60 year old father listens to them and so does my 9 year old brother. But yeah I couldnt find the Japanese bonus tracks for some reason. And the booklets are such a good help for me to follow along with the lyrics haha. Im terrible at interpreting lyrics!!

@FallenMetalLover I like The Agonist because of their sound and messages. and I know she is straight edge and vegan. I am straight edge too (not official or anything... just no booze, no drugs , no smoking etc.). But being vegan is a choice you make.
