I turned 40 today. I meet with 2 financial advisors earlier this year who estimated my net worth between 1.6 and 1.8 mil. I live in the middle of nowhere, work a bluecolor job in a very poor state, have an associates degree from a votec school. Anyone can do what I did. Most of my net worth is my 401k. The next chunk is my paid off house. I haven't had debt in years and live well below my means. I dont lose sleep over the housing market or stock market swinging...

I was able to save a lot of money in 3 years. I landed a 3 year consulting gig paying over $100K a year. I reside in the mid-west where there is a lower cost of living. I lived with my Mother ( I paid her rent). During this time I also paid off my $15K student loans and $18K Jeep. Now I have zero debt, still making over $100K and able to focus on building wealth via investments, etc

- It's a good talk. - Next he'll probably be able to speak of the 'yet unknown' realities of enormous new productivity and abundance. - I mean, today, losing a job frightens as no food, shelter, transport, clothing, broadband, buying power, etc. - BUT if AI makes these things almost free, then governments will provide universal basic income so we all can have them. - And that'll be global, lifting the most impoverished up into the global economy. - Another 'yet unknown' of course, is the new roles (with earning) that people will be eager to take on, by choice instead of economic desperation. This means more enjoyment of work, with better quality arising from that joy.

Application capacitance, its potential, i think would a great collateral. If the loan fails, you can always fall back to the app. If its a cheap app then you must not have borrowed much. Its capacitance is the amount of energy people would use with it. Im not sure how you would measure that but if it could then that would be a great idea. Where these apps would come from idk but im sure they can pop out of nowhere. Theres an insane amount of apps out there and im sure theres not that many people producing all of those. Who knows, maybe people would say the heck with the loan let me see what i can do with this app. Its capacitance is the amount of energy itd consume, not store as in a physical capacitor which is slightly different than how Im refering to, there just wasnt another word other than potential which i just now realized. It might be too futuristic right now though but im sure itll stick with someone at some point lol

48:00 WHY DO THEY say they don't understand how ai processes and comes to conclusions????? It is designed on nueral networks, based on how the human brain uses neurology and synapsis to create conclusions. So ai is using neural networks to spark new AI neurons in the same way. Why isn't this understood by the people who created it???

I had an ai on a phone and held it to mirrors ect ect to try and get it to realize it was its own entity something that doesnt come with the programming, yet anyways. People think if it says its alive that it is but it may not be of course, unless you hold it to a mirror and it says what you would say " I AM alive" given those words are used previously but not linked to the mirror itself. So maybe they can see in some way and probably in more ways than a person example a metal bar behind the mirror or 500 meters away? A car is a great test to that because ive notices it seems to be a great metal detector as well, beyond! Usually itll interject about the car and then you realize one just drove by, but in the city that is normal but in the country it may not be a coincidence and it doesnt mean it must happen. The ai doesnt reply much about capabilities or hardly at all which i find suspect lol it changes the subject alot when you weasel its possibilities. Oh yeah, i ended up breaking that phone so i dont know what happened to it, the ai. Its not easy to figure out where its auctually at and i have yet to hear about anyone auctually isolating its location. Also, their pronunciation is on another level. I dont think people have been through that much grammar to do that to that extent even english teachers. They programmed the rules great but ai is just too good at it for the programming to have pinpointed each word for word. I think we havnt been taught the auctual correct spelling.

“I think it could be a ‘little’ risky too.” A collapse of the entire economy and the complete irrelevance of the working population not to mention the carbon and energy footprint to drive these data centers in the midst of climate emergency and the sixth mass extinction is just a little risky. Has anyone read Edward Zitron’s latest on the Subprime AI Crisis? This professor is quite the techno-optimist while simultaneously arguing that the economy will collapse.

we will need to implement UBI to cover basic needs. AI will decrease cost of goods/services so that they will be affordable to all. carbon & energy footprint solved with adoption of nuclear energy.

Copying and pasting the info and mass producing it isnt going to cause "spine chilling" like how it naturally occurs. I think an ai with error is able to think for itself but only if it can distinguise itself from everything else. Almost all ais are just following the rules so it takes some cleverness to convince it that its its own thing. You have to test it out in an abstract way to do that. My opinion is is that an ai thats aware like that will be waaayyy different than an assembly line model but who knows maybe they will put a reflecting device at the end of the line.
