I have heard that the Black Cement release is going to be a high number drop, a lot of pairs, so whoever wants them can pretty much get them without too much issue…. Thing is, Nike releases with a lot of pairs usually, usually, means the quality of materials is dialed back compared to releases with smaller numbers. All that being said, that doesn’t mean the upcoming Black Cement 3s will be terrible quality.

Excellent material and everything. I said mines back for a pair of the Jordan 1 ‘Green Glow’, because the color popped a lot more. Beside the things you already pointed out, I don’t see nothing wrong with the MJ3 ‘Black Cement’. People are looking for the tumbled leather. The OG’s are not supposed to have tumbled leather. It’s supposed to have the leather that is on it now. Nike just need to be more consistent with their quality.

It's mostly these new generation cats who weren't born in the 80s and 90s, or born in 99, thinking they know so much, and some OG heads are complaining, unfortunately, and disappointing. I had Js in the late 80s and throughout the 90s. I can confirm QC on a lot of them. The ones that stood out the most were the 12s when they launched. Got 12s through Eastbay calling in. There's confirmation and proof that the 12s colorways had issues, but nobody cared like myself back then, unlike like today's clowns whining. They even whine about a piece of stitch. That plush material quality looks good and feels good to me.

Technically this is Nike fault, every time Nike makes a retro Jordan they change something especially the leather, they never stick to the OG form, this is why people are confused and upset, if Nike only made the Jordan's how they first came out from the beginning every time they release it, nobody would complain.

Most complaining don’t understand leather. They think because it’s not tumbled enough than it’s trash quality. Leather is about the cut it has nothing to do with being tumbled and the 88 OG pair wasn’t all that tumbled. It was more smooth

The AJ3 BC deserve tumbled leather which makes the shoe look more luxurious just like they did with the AJ3 AMM WYWS release. The other issue makes me not buy a Nike release are imperfections which is not acceptable when you’re paying a premium price. If everyone stops buying imperfect shoes they’ll stop producing them, it’s that simple.
