Seriously, in Highway 66 I've got to attack units at 50 percent strenght with 3 fresh unit... all of that to be slaughtered because the map as) has all point on the ennemy's side b) rivers in the middle from north to south, congrat, you can only do frontal attacks. AG multi was almost fun, almost.

@@cpp3221 tbf, the spawn area and capture points will always appear on the map in the favor of the defenders, thats why there are no more breakthrough and meeting engagement modes for Army General (which i prefer since defenders should always get the advantage of actually defending regardless of whether they entrench or not)

But having only 10 minutes in certain cases, for taking the sectors, in a game where a good and clever defense will always prevail on sometime inevitable frontal assault - if the map does not allows for anything but that- (or at least inflict heavy casualities), it just become impossible to attack, as the defenders has also the advantage of having the sector close to the spawn point (so they can feed the meatgrinder). In the other hand, attacking reinforcement will have to travel accross all the map, which sometimes is quite big. It can lead to ridiculous situation, were a unit at 50 percent strenght, will have a total victory over 3 fresh units (relatively unscattered at least) and disorganize them (as it happened in the Highway 66 scenario since some unit have 1 or 2 fatigues point). There's litteraly not point in not autoresolving some map when you're the attacker in multiplayer, as some minor victories will become total defeats.

The Army General campaigns turned WARNO from a good game to an amazing game. Also since all early access got the digital guide for free I recommend reading it, there is a lot of the logic behind the campaigns and how they did research for each and every unit explained.

What's unbalanced about it, I think the balance is in a pretty solid state right now, although map changes that have made some areas less wooded do give tanks a bit more punching power than before.

@BruhmomentMomentovik My knowledge is very limited on Warno, pretty much just what I've seen in Bo videos, which is why I phrased it as a question. If it's just friends malding in a multiplayer game then fair enough, but it does seem like they have a lot more complaints for Warno than they do for other games (like veterancy being broken, map designs like the ones in the video just giving one side the win, and rng being ridiculous on some weapons so you never hit.) Again, I could be totally wrong and feel free to say so, but that's just what I've gathered.

@@charliebasar9068 Some of those issues are a bit Army General specific, such as the maps capture zones layout and that a lot of units in AG can be Vet-2 making them overperform (unlike in normal multiplayer where if you want to have any acceptable availability for ground units you need to keep them at Level 0 or Level1), also AG pricing for units is a lot different than mutiplayer and players can make themselves have a serious advantage by doing good positioning on the strategic-level AG map thus being able to bring in more battalions into the fight and thus outnumbering the enemy, but being outnumbered can also be kinda a skill issue as well (it can be a result of bad unit positioning on strategic map). Some of it is an intense amount of coping and seething though, which isn’t unexpected from the snake of Denmark and the rest of the gang
